This is the latest blog in my series looking at the Adultwork website (www.adultwork.com) and various aspects of it. In this posting, I want to look at the Reverse Booking system and I want to look at several experiences I have had using it, as case studies.
Adultwork reverse booking system
The normal approach on Adultwork is for the Punter to look at the profiles of service providers and to then contact those he is interested in seeing and to arrange a meeting.
However, the Reverse Booking feature allows a Punter to state the details of the booking he is looking for, such as location, date and time, type of experience sought and the rate he is prepared to pay. Ladies then contact the Punter and offer to meet on the terms they want, or accept those of the Punter.
How good is it?
In the interests of being totally honest, I must confess I had great reservations about using this facility for about a year after I started using Adultwork, as I wondered about the quality of respondents. My rationale was the best ladies would be busy and, therefore, would not look at bookings on here.
In the end, at one stage when I was at a loss as to who I should see, I decided to give it a try. I have used it a few times since, with interesting results. Here are a few of my experiences to illustrate how it has worked for me……or otherwise:
Beginner’s luck
My very first booking was with a delightful lady who I had never come across previously as she was from outside my area and, therefore, had not hit my “radar”! This booking was an immense experience, the lady was so totally charming and gorgeous and we had a blast! Indeed, she has become a firm favourite of mine and we have become good friends now and still meet regularly, always having an unforgettable time.
Turn for the worse
Following an amazing booking, what could possibly go wrong? My next booking was a case of “alright on the night”, but turned sour afterwards. I have featured my account of this meeting in a forthcoming blog “Escorts with issues“.
When we met, everything was fine and I intended to see this lady again soon afterwards, in two to three weeks. However, this proved too long for the lady and she was very spiteful towards me and directed some very upsetting and totally unwarranted accusations at me. As a result, we did not meet again and it still upsets me to this day recalling what she had said, but even more so, why she had said it.
One bad apple?
I do not like one bad experience to cloud my judgement on any subject, as I much rather think with my head to form a more balanced opinion.
I subsequently had another lovely series of meetings with a lady who was from another part of the UK and toured to London once a month, which restored my faith in the system.
“Standout” booking
My next experience if reverse bookings was also very memorable, although sadly, for all the wrong reasons, being my worst experience as a Punter to date! This encounter I featured in my blog “the good, the bad and the ugly” and, yes, it was “ugly”.
Hiatus
I did not use the system for nigh on one year, as I chose to stick to only seeing those I knew very well, or to contact those I was sure about.
Eventually though, I decided to have another foray.
Two to forget
My next two encounters were disappointing in the extreme! I had been quite careful in selecting only those who had actually bothered to read my booking fully and had responded in the most welcoming manner.
However, neither booking really set any fires burning and, to be charitable, shall I just say we did not click?
Points to note
When I have placed booking requests, I have always put a fee very similar to what I would normally pay. I know there are some men who tend to place very cheap bids on the system, which is fine, but I prefer to pay what I consider to be a reasonable fee. Indeed, on two occasions, I have paid more than my actual bid, as the lady was accepting the bid to see me at what I considered to be an unfair disadvantage to her! This, of course, was my choice and my choice alone, as I did not feel the quoted fee was commensurate with the ladies who I had agreed to see and I believe passionately about being equitable in meetings, rather than trying to secure something of value “on the cheap”. I do feel a little respect goes a long way; as the saying goes, “what goes around, comes around”.
There are plenty of ladies who will respond to a reverse booking request. I tend to place my booking requests between ten and fourteen days before the proposed meeting date, so the normal amount of bids I receive is between 30 and 40. However, I must point out, many are unsuitable as they clearly have not read my booking, they are in the wrong area, or are simply not available when I have been asking for!
My conclusion
I do feel the reverse booking facility on Adultwork does have distinct merits. It is nice not to have to do all of the research for once, as I would normally do a fair bit of searching and background reading prior to any meeting. It is also quite flattering to have many ladies seeking one’s booking.
My best advice would be to have a clear idea of the type of person you wish to see and to stick to this. Also, where time permits, do not accept the first suitable booking enquiry, but to wait a few days to see who else registers interest.
Before accepting any booking, I would recommend to contact any suitable respondents by email to engage in a bit of chat, to see how keen they really are. I had one lady who was very high on my “hot list” contact me. However, when I emailed her, I only received the briefest, most ambivalent and disinterested of emails, where she ignored any of my questions. Her response was simple: “Make a booking if you want to see me”. Therefore, I chose not to meet her.
I would also say, wherever possible, a courtesy email to those who bid, but you did not wish to see on this occasion, never does any harm. If I have received a lot of bids, I contact those who have responded the most favourably, who have read my booking properly and who I might wish to see at a later date.
My experiences of reverse bookings have been mixed. True, I had my worst encounter to date, but, equally, I met two ladies who I now still see a year later and whom I regard as good friends. Ultimately, it is up to each Punter if he feels it is for him or not. If you do give it a go, exercise normal caution, but do not be surprised if you “unearth” some real treasures like I did!
Dedicated to a charming, kind and beautiful lady. I am most grateful to you for “booking” me, as it has been a distinct privilege to have met you and to get to know you so well. Thank you for all of your kindness and friendship.
