If a week is a long time in politics, it seems almost impossible to comprehend, 12 months have now elapsed since I launched my blog and published my first posts.
So much has happened since and the blog has become part of my life and almost a way of life.
As I have said before, at the outset I had no real ambitions for the blog. Why should I have done? For it is merely my thoughts, my opinions and my experiences. Why would these be of any interest to anyone else?
The fact other people do read it and it has developed quite a wide readership is something I am both extremely grateful for and continually surprised by.
Indeed, as a result of the blog, I have got to know some really interesting and charming people, either by email or through Twitter. The fact some of these people are from all around the world, most of whom are involved in the Adult Industry, whilst some are from outside the scene adds to my fascination over the blog’s influence.
Whilst there are undoubtedly some who do not like it or me, that is just life. They are entitled to their opinion and if they dislike it, or me, and choose not to read, it is beyond my control. However, I do receive many positive messages and feedback. When some are from people who are well-known in the industry it is really humbling.
The number of hits in the site for the first year has continued to grow and recently passed the 50,000 mark, which I think must be quite good for a nascent blog for its inaugural year. Therefore, although I do get it wrong on occasions and I certainly do not know anything like everything there is to know about the scene, I must be doing something right if people do enjoy and take something from my ramblings.
The year ahead
I still have many new angles to explore: some generic topics, some important issues and some more about my experiences. At the outset, I really feared I would run out of subjects to write about, but, in truth, the ideas come faster than I can write about them.
I have been delighted that other people have contacted me to enquire about guest writing for these pages and some have since contributed. I do hope others will also choose to share their own personal experiences and views in the future.
I still do not have any other aims for the blog other than to share my views and experiences and if others are inspired to read it, I take this as a massive compliment. As long as the readership continues to grow and the feedback appreciative, I shall continue to publish as often as I can.
Afterall, it is you who makes this blog worthwhile and I extend my sincere thanks and good wishes to everyone who has chosen to read my offerings in such a positive, open-minded manner and continue to do so on a regular basis.
Thank you for reading and for making this blog what it has become………so far!
Just keep up the good work! Always a joy to read and very interesting!
Thank you, I shall do. Plenty in the pipeline still
Congratulations and a very well done!! Although we have only recently come on board as part of your reading panel of fans, it has been an absolute pleasure reading your stories! You most certainly have a captivating way of reflecting on certain topics which for the most part can be crude and distasteful, this you manage to never cross paths with and always put it out in the most stylish and respectful way possible! Cheers to you and here’s to many more years of reading pleasure!

Ack, you’re far too humble!
Why would somebody click on a blog dedicated to the intricacies of punting, and become ‘outraged’.
I have girls responding to my blogs, asking for advice, which I always respond to.
Keep a-bloggin’!

In answer to your question, Natasha, you’d be surprised! No bother though; if they don’t like me or the blog they can read elsewhere, but they still like to give their opinion!
