If you have already read any of my previous posts on the Escort scene in Berlin, you will be well aware how different the set up is compared with the UK.
Firstly, most of the agency Escorts only offer Outcalls. Secondly, a large percentage of ladies work as independents in Bordellos, or brothels, but a Bordello is much more upmarket than the image it portrays in the UK.
But what of the ladies themselves? During my recent visit there, I met a beautiful and charming lady who kindly consented to me doing a profile of her. However, it is not my style to name anyone and I gave my word in this instance too. As such, forgive me if I do not give any details, even to say where she works. Suffice to say it is in one of the establishments I have listed in previous posts.
Lady A
I am guessing here, but I would say Lady A is in her early 20s. It is an understatement to say she is stunningly beautiful and it would be a dream for any gent to spend time with her, even for a short time similar to what we shared. However, it was her other beauty which made my decision to choose her a simple and instant one: her personality is warm and genuine.
I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of her company, so much so I extended the meeting without hesitation and found her to be as good company as she was sensual and endlessly kissing her was simply divine!
I could not believe how trusting Lady A was of me too! Maybe it was because I was an “out of towner”, but she was very honest with me and bestowed on me personal information ladies I have known in London for far longer never saw fit to trust me with.
I met Lady A in a medium-sized Bordello, where she works as an independent Escort and can very much choose when she works and for how long. As with some of the other ladies I have met in Berlin over the years, Lady A also only works part-time as an Escort. I understand this is true of a fair percentage of the ladies.
The following is a selection of questions I asked her and her answers are paraphrased.
Why did Lady A become an Escort? Lady A said it was because it was something a bit different and she wanted more excitement.
How long has Lady A been Escorting? About four months.
Does Lady A work in any other Bordellos? No.
Is Lady A able to pick and choose her hours and days when she works? Very much so.
Does Lady A like the working conditions? Yes. It’s a comfortable and discreet place to work.
Does it feel safer than alone? Yes
Does Lady A enjoy the job? Yes, as she meets some nice men, she can choose whom she sees and she earns a bit extra too.
Does Lady A actually enjoy the sex? Yes, on the whole, when there is a good connection.
Does anyone in Lady A’s private life know about her secret side? No, definitely not! Even though Bordellos are legal in Germany and found even in upmarket residential areas, there is the same universal stigma attached to it.
What clients will she not see? Under 35 to protect her anonymity. This was for very sound rationale showing a great deal of maturity and clarity of thought. Just another way in which I was impressed by this lady.
I am not prepared to say what it was, as it is not relevant to the context of this piece, but it reaffirmed a long-held belief, us more “seasoned campaigners” (that is older to you and me) can always learn from our younger peers.
How long will Lady A do the job? Probably for another two years.
Other life? Lady A has a professional vocation and is very ambitious towards her other goals.

Other ladies say they work as a part-time Escort in a Bordello, as the cost of living is so high, whilst salaries do not match. A couple were full-time students.
To give some idea of the sort of professions of the ladies I have met, some are secretaries, one worked in a legal firm, one as a dental assistant and several in shops and bars.
Although the set up in Germany is quite different from the UK, I have found the ladies are very similar, insofar as they are from every walk of life and background. Equally, what they look for in a client is the same: Respect, courtesy, discretion and trust.
I think there are two types here, the first time is the career woman or student that escorts part time and works to earn extra money, travel and live the escort experience. The second is what I call a “full time escort” and in my experience (sorry to anyone I might upset) these can be the nightmare ones. Some of them are doing it because of the money potential and don’t care about reputation. I have worked with a few girls like this in the past as an agent and they have always been unreliable. Obviously these are just stereotypes based on my experience in Spain
