Those who are regular readers of my blog will know how important etiquette is to me and I am sure I am not alone amongst gentlemen Punters in holding this value.
Quite simply, I do not believe there is a short cut on such matters of courtesy, respect, trust and manners and these apply equally to both gentlemen and ladies.
One area where which I feel applies only to us gentlemen though is the time of day when one calls a lady.
Many a lady will have her phone number on her website or Adultwork profile (www.adultwork.com). If one takes the trouble to actually read their site in detail, it will often state when they are available either for work and or for calls.
Even if it does not indicate when, I do believe a bit of commonsense applies here! In short, with only a very few exceptions, ladies are not on call 24/7!
They do not offer a service like a plumber where one rings at 3 a.m. and they will be right round. Believe me, no matter how pressing the urge to procreate (?) may be, an emergency Escort call out service is not on offer!
There are agencies who have receptionists manning their phones during displayed times and they will normally have ladies available at shorter notice.
However, this may come as a surprise, but ladies who are independent do not have a secretary. They also tend to have a private life. Some are married, some are with partners, many have children. Therefore, ringing or texting at “stupid o’clock” is neither appreciated nor going to yield any form of positive response.
Even if you have seen a lady before, just because her number is saved in your phone, it does not mean she has a hot line for you every time you have the hots!

Even if you are calling a lady during her normal working hours, it does not mean she is siting by the phone at her location, all glammed up and ready.
The fact her phone number is for a mobile phone, kind of gives a clue! She may actually be mobile and out and about. For goodness sake show some consideration to the lady and give her adequate time to get ready!
Several ladies have told me how they have had to tell potential clients they do not posses a helicopter, so need time to get ready and to get to a client’s place.
If this all sounds rather condescending or obvious, I make no apologies for stating it! for some gents, the obvious is clearly not so. For some common sense is still an aspiration.
One will never endear oneself to a lady without displaying some degree of courtesy and consideration towards her. To expect her to be on call 24/7 or at the drop of a hat, on your whim, are two ways I can pretty much guarantee most elite ladies will quickly lose patience with any Punter and he will not be the type of client they are happily seeking.
My opinion only, but I do have it on good authority from many a source. It is totally up to you whether you want to take it on board.

I have, on all too many occasions, had to remind clients that I do not possess the power of teleportation. Neither am I sat up all night, done up in stockings, high heels and immaculate make up at 4am, just in case they called and that I can not be ordered like a taxi cab or a pizza!
(And also I do not appreciate drunken texts all through the night! …as you said… just because my number is stored in your phone, doesn’t mean I’m there 24/7 to read your fantasies of our next meeting!)

I always keep my phone on silent during the night, and thank god I do. We need our beauty sleep, not to be pestered with drunken texts or voice mails at 3am.
